Is this stuff worth a burrito?

iMac DV G3/400 Indigo (Early 2001)

This Apple iMac DV G3 is a beautifully designed personal computer that is useful, versatile and is in excellent physical and functional condition.

Not as “historic” as my previous post. Still a very useful and handy little machine that is in excellent condition.

The shell is translucent and the internal computer components are visible. The shell has no visible marks.

The G3 400MHz CPU is peepy and keeps up with most tasks. This iMac includes Firewire for connectivity.

Original system list price in 2001: $899

Some tech specs:

  • PowerPC 750 (G3) @ 400MHz
  • 640 MB RAM (1x 256 MB  DIMM 1x 128MB DIMM)
  • ATI Rage 128 Pro video with 8 MB of VRAM
  • built in 15″ (13.8″ viewable) monitor
  • 24x CD-ROM
  • 80 GB hard drive
  • 2 USB, 2 Firewire, 1 modem, 1 Ethernet, 1 audio in, 1 speaker out, 1 headphone
  • built in Harmon-Kardon designed sound system
  • Mac OS 10.4 installed
  • will also boot Mac OS 9.2 (installed)
  • included but not pictured, Yamaha 40x external firewire CDRW

Note: I actually have the original box, packaging, cables, and install CDs for this iMac. It really is in quite remarkable condition for a 10 year old personal computer.
